Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT IS THE COST TO HIRE THE HALL?
We charge £30 per hour for hire of the hall, your hours of hire will include your set up time and the hours in between your set up time and the start of your party or function. For example, if you wish to set up for your party at 4pm but your party/function does not begin until 7pm you will be charged from 4pm until the end time of the party.
DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR THE BAR?
The bar is included as part of your total hall hire cost providing you have the minimum number of guests for the bar to make a profit; this is normally 100 guests. If you have under the minimum number of guests attend and the bar makes a loss, the bar staff wages may be taken from your deposit (usually £30).
WHAT TIME DOES THE BAR CLOSE?
For evening parties, the bar will close at 11pm, with last orders at 10.45pm. On occasion, to be agreed when booking, the bar may be available to stay open until 12am – additional charges may applied.
WHAT IS THE LATEST TIME I CAN HIRE THE HALL UNTIL?
Music is not permitted after 11:30pm. The hirer must ensure that the premises are clean and vacated by 12am.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR MY BOOKING?
The total hire fee must be paid at least 4 weeks prior to the date of hire.
A deposit will be taken at the time of booking to secure your chosen date.
CAN I HIRE ON A REGULAR BASIS?
Yes, we are always looking for new groups and activities to regularly hire the hall.
We currently have availability on both weekdays and weekends (subject to exisiting bookings).
